Built with a powder-coated aluminium frame and burnt cedar cladding, this gate was designed to mirror the home’s façade while keeping the material weight light. Builders JD Construction Co prepared the walls; we delivered the gates and a recessed maglock. Cast-in-situ concrete walls have neat edges with side-mounted posts and custom tapered flashings to close gaps and create a seamless line. We devised a customised letterbox slot cut into the pedestrian gate to keep the frontage tidy. Architect: Stacey Farrell.
